History
The company’s vision is lead by directors James Dickens and Mark Hackett.
With over thirty years experience in property; operating at the highest levels, managing multi-disciplinary teams; and leading projects for retail, leisure, and housing, within both the public and private sectors; Hackett & James have the track record, credentials and demonstrable expertise, to work collaboratively with clients and provide an outstanding, integrated construction management service.
CSR
At Hackett & James, our CSR policy outlines and substantiates our thinking and commitment.
As part of our CSR programme, we are proactive in working with local contractors and crafts people around the UK. When working on specific projects in various regions around the country, we believe it is our duty to recruit the very best teams within those areas.
As a Midlands based company, we work with a variety of youth programmes, apprenticeship schemes, schools, colleges and universities; all to help young people by giving them real world experience. These initiatives are a long term CSR commitment for Hackett & James.
Charity
Hackett & James support several charities. A prime initiative; The Priory Boxing Club,in the West Midlands works with young teenagers. This club has already given a sense of worth and purpose to countless lives in that community. Now the Sports Council have agreed to fund development plans to improve the facility, so that it can evolve into a real asset for the residents as a whole. We continue to raise money, awareness and secure support for the scheme and our involvement is very much long term.
Our commitment to youth, is also reflected in our links with colleges/universities, governorship responsibilities and sponsoring apprenticeships and internships.

We are controlled by professionally qualified directors who are committed to high standards of quality and customer service.
We operate a strict Code of Conduct governed by the Chartered Institute Of Building.
